Freeview

Freeview is the free digital television service in Australia. It comprises all the channels from Australia’s free-to-view broadcasters, including the ABC, SBS, Seven Network, Nine Network, Network Ten, Prime, WIN and Southern Cross.

The analogue free-to-view TV signals in Australia will be switched off between 2010 and 2013 and be replaced with digital-only signals. Once the analogue signal has been turned off, the only way for you to continue to watch TV for free is to convert from analogue to Freeview digital television.

To get all the channels for Freeview all you need is a High Definition (HD) set top box or a HD flat panel screen. You will need to make sure your antenna system is Digital Ready.
